Miracle Orange Tree in Beit Shemesh

Miracle Orange Tree in Beit Shemesh

Can people STARVE if they don't work the fields a whole year???

The Torah says...

And if you will say ‘What will I eat in the seventh year? – Behold, we will not sow and we will not gather our crops’, I will ordain My blessing for you in the sixth year and it will yield a crop sufficient for three years (Vayikrah 25:20-21 ויקרא)

Shlomo Walfish Director of Zo Arteinu planted an orange tree outside his house in Ramat Beit Shemesh in 2006. When the 1st Shmitta came, he kept all the mitzvot with it. The last few years bore about 40-50 oranges per season. On the 6th year, right before it's 2nd Shmitta he got about 135 Oranges! That's 3 times the produce as Hashem promised!

The Torah (Bible) says...

"And if you will say 'What will I eat in the seventh year? - Behold, we will not sow and we will not gather our crops', I will ordain My blessing for you in the sixth year and it will yield a crop sufficient for three years"

(Vayikrah/Leviticus 25:20-21

I will ordain my blessing to YOU!
