The Chava is an agricultural farm right at the entrance of Ramat Beit Shemesh under the supervision of the Ministry of education. Children and Adults from all over Beit Shemesh come here to learn about agriculture, planting trees, vegetables, taking care of them and the fruits and learning about the Mitzvot. Zo Artzeinu is donating a whole mix of new fruit trees to them including Avocados, figs, mangoes, different kinds of nut trees, passion fruit and much more to be planted before Shmitta starts. The Mayor of Beit Shemesh Dr. Aliza Bloch may join us as well.

Successful Planting in Migdalim on Mon
We planted a 5,000 tree vineyard in Migdalim in the Shomron on Monday July 5th 9am-3pm. Migdalim is about 10 minutes away from Eish Kodesh where Zo Artzeinu has planted tens of thousands of trees.


The vineyard is owned and run by Shirel Charlap the great grandson of Rabbi Yaakov Moshe Charlap zt “l, Former Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva Merkaz Harav. He was very close with Rav Avraham Yitzchak Hakohen Kook and even learned with him. Rabbi Charlap writings which deal with the sanctity of the Land of Israel and the nature of redemption in our generation.

Successful Planting "Gan BaDagan" in Efrat

Successful Planting in Efrat last Fri.

Thanks to everyone who helped plant or sponsor a whole new mixed fruit tree Orchard with over 120 trees in Efrat in between the Dagan and Zayit this past Friday. The new park will be called Gan BaDagan. Stay tuned for a Video.

It takes A LOT to plant FRUIT trees!
 
 
  1. Find a suitable location and purchase it.
  2. Prepare the land by clearing away rocks and thorn bushes.
  3. Bring water, electric and other infrastructure to the site.
  4. Install a fence around the entire area to keep away the animals.
  5. Turn over, flatten and fertilize the soil.
  6. Install a computerized irrigation system.
  7. Strategically plan and carefully plant all the trees.
  8. Weed, water, fertilize, and prune them for 3 years (Orlah).
  9. AFTER 4 years we can finally redeem the fruits (Neta Revai).
  10. On the 7th year (Shmitta) no pruning or selling the produce.
