There are 2 Blessings made on Fruit Trees

1. The following Bracha (Fruit Tree Blessing) is said, during the Jewish month of Nisan ניסן, spring time (March-May) in front of Fruit Trees in blossom anywhere in the world. In colder climates it can be said later when the fruit trees begin to flower.

בָּרוּך אַתָּה ה' אֱלֹקֵינוּ מֶלֶך הָעוֹלָם, שֶלֹּא חִסַּר בְּעוֹלָמוֹ כְּלוּם

וּבָרָא בוֹ בְּרִיּוֹת טוֹבוֹת וְאִילָנוֹת טוֹבוֹת, לֵהָנוֹת בָּהֶן בְּנֵי אָדָם 


Boruch Ata Hashem Elokeinu Melech Haolam Shelo Chisar Ba'olamo Klum,

Uvara Vo Beriyos Tovos V'ilanos Tovos, Lehanos Bahem B'nei Adam.


Translation: Blessed are You, L-rd our G-d, King of the universe, who has made nothing lacking in His world, and created in it goodly creatures and goodly trees, to give man pleasure.

       It takes A LOT to plant FRUIT trees!
 
  1. Find a suitable location and purchase it.
  2. Prepare the land by clearing away rocks and thorn bushes.
  3. Bring water, electric and other infrastructure to the site.
  4. Install a fence around the entire area to keep away the animals.
  5. Turn over, flatten and fertilize the soil.
  6. Install a computerized irrigation system.
  7. Strategically plan and carefully plant all the trees.
  8. Weed, water, fertilize, and prune them for 3 years (Orlah).
  9. AFTER 4 years we can finally redeem the fruits (Neta Revai).
  10. On the 7th year (Shmitta) no pruning or selling the produce.

The Admor of Piacezne Rav Kalman Menachem Shapira planting fruit trees at the Aish Kodesh Vineyard. The Rebbe is the son of Reb Elimelech Shapira, and assumed the mantle of the Piacezne Chassidus in Ramat Beit Shemesh since his father passing in 1997.

The Rebbe's Grandfather Reb Yeshaya Shapira (1891-1945) brother of Rebbe Kalonymus Kalman Shapira the Piacezne Rebbe from poland who wrote the Aish Kodesh hy"d, was known as Admor Hachalutz, the Pioneering Rebbe who came to Israel in 1920 and help build up Eretz Israel in Land, Torah and Mitzvot. He wrote a Sefer book called Eretz Chafeitz about the importance of planting fruit trees in Eretz Yisrael and about the Mitzvos Hatluyos Baaretz, Mitzvos that can only be performed in the Holy land.
